Academy Principals

Peter Lazar

Peter Lazar, AM, BA, FPRIA, FICD, is the founder and chairman of Professional Public Relations Australia Group (PPR).

Peter is a recognised leader in the communication profession, a Past President and Life Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (NSW) and was chair of its College of Fellows.

He is co-author of the "Australian & New Zealand Public Relations Manual". This book, recently reprinted, is the most commonly used text for public relations in Australian and New Zealand universities.

Peter has taught public relations at the University of Technology Sydney and at TAFE and worked tirelessly for the Public Relations Institute of Australia, co- founding the Golden Target Awards in 1976.

Diana Forrester

Diana Forrester, BA(Hons), Dip Ed, FPRIA is the Director, Consulting Excellence and Corporate Services, for Professional Public Relations. As a key member of the Group Executive Team at PPR, Diana is responsible for the strategic direction and continuing success of this growing Australian company and for the development of its 150 plus staff in Australia, and New Zealand.

Diana has a background in research, is a professional writer and a qualified educator. She is also in demand as a presenter and workshop coordinator, conducting regular workshops in Organisational Communication for the Australian Public Service Commission and the Australian Graduate School of Management, as well as lecturing in issues management, writing skills and public relations practice for a variety of clients.

Diana was awarded a Centenary of Federation Medal for services to the Australian community in Business Leadership and was a national finalist in the Telstra Business Woman of the Year (2001) having been awarded ACT Business Woman of the Year in the Private and Corporate Sector Category.

Errol Considine

Errol is one of Western Australia’s most experienced communicators with a career spanning over 35 years in a range of high profile corporate public affairs, consultancy and media positions. He is a popular course presenter who has earned a reputation as one of WA’s foremost media training experts.

As a senior in-house public affairs manager Errol has won state, national and international print publication and video production awards. He was a highly-regarded print and broadcast media journalist in WA, UK and South Africa.

Felicity Nuttall

Felicity is passionate about assisting people to communicate with power and persuasion to enable them to be clearly understood and get the results they want.

She is a specialist in communications with more than 25 years’ experience in human resources, corporate affairs, journalism and investor relations. Felicity has worked with individuals, teams and departments across all types of business: privately owned, not-for-profit organisations, local and national franchises and for leading Australian ASX-listed companies, including Wesfarmers and Woodside.

As a communications coach and trainer, Felicity works with executives, business owners, future leaders and the career-minded to communicate clearly and concisely. She is committed to assisting individuals and companies to build effective writing skills they can powerfully communicate new thinking, strategies, results and information in ways that ensure their message is understood.

Felicity has a Master of Businesses Administration, a Bachelor of Arts (English), is a trained teacher in English as a Second Language and is a qualified NLP Practitioner.
